I have been a Star Wars fan since 1977, when I first saw A New Hope on the big screen.
Since then, I've always wanted to travel to the planet of Tatooine. In 2001 I got my first chance, touring around Tunisia to locate the filming locations used by Lucasfilm to recreate the desert planet.
The Trip to Tatooine was born.
In 2003 I took a group of 12 people along for the ride. And in 2005 I did it over again, this time with a group of 18 Pioneers. In May 2010 I did my final trip, the so-called Tatooine Reunion. It was a blast!
