Sample trading?

I'm willing to purchase 3cl samples from your Auchentoshan collection if I have not yet tried it. If you prefer to trade, ask me for a complete list of all my whisky bottles (not just Auchentoshan). I have about 50 open bottles at all times from all over Scotland, from Aberfeldy to Tullibardine.

I also have bottles from other parts of the world, including Belgium - where I live. But Japan, the USA, Sweden, etc. So please, if you can help me expand my whisky palate, especially Auchentoshan, get in touch with me. Much obliged!

Here you'll find Mark's tasting notes on Auchentoshan whiskies.

'These are, of course, my very personal impressions and I am the first to admit that I'm a little biased when it comes to Toshan! There are no bad Toshan, only good and better. And of course quite a few are excellent!'

If a bottle has no link, that means he has not taken down notes at the time. 'Sorry, but while I'll never turn down the opportunity to taste an Auchentoshan, not every location or occassion is suitable for writing tasting notes'. How true.

Remarks

Mark always uses a copita or glencairn glass when tasting a whisky. Often, but not always, will he add a bit of water to the nectar. His tasting notes are utterly personal and hence no scoring has been added. Each should make up his/her own mind. But one thing is certain: Auchentoshan is his favourite dram!

You'll also find that not all of the Toshans in his collection have been tasted (indeed, some bottles are still closed) and not all Toshans he has tasted are in his collection (as he tasted them at festivals, the distillery, at local tastings, etc...).
